Formed in 1874, initially as Christ Church Football Club, the Bolton Wanderers decided upon their current name in 1877. Competing in the EFL Championship, the second tier of the English Football League System, they have spent the highest number of seasons of any club at the top flight without being lucky enough to actually win the title. However, they’ve had their fair share of successes including winning the FA Cup 4 times, as well as reaching the top 20 in the UEFA cup. The Wanderers recently relocated their home stadium to the Reebok Stadium, which has recently been renamed as the Macron Stadium, which holds up to 28,000 fans.
