Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club based in Almelo, they were founded in 1903 and play their home games at the Polman Stadion. They currently play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football. The club has won the Dutch national title twice, in 1927 and 1941 and the Eerste Divisie twice in 1984-85 and 2004-05, they also came runners uop in the 2011-12 KNVB Cup. Their stadium had to be expanded during the 2015-16 season to hold the growing number of fans the club was gaining.
